Take Another Look at Your RAW Files

I've been shooting RAW since I got a camera capable of it. Until recently, though, I didn't realize what sort of versatility it offered me. I took this photo almost four years ago, and at first glance, it was an overall blah sort of picture.

I was going through one of my hard drives, just kind of exploring, when I came across this image. Once I opened it in Lightroom, I began to see possibilities. With just a few adjustments, I ended up with a very usable image.

Don't delete your photos, and give them another look from time to time. You might be surprised at what you have hidden in a RAW file.

Free Borders and Edges

I have made some of my photo borders and edge effects available for download. Look for my Box.com downloads on the sidebar. The instructions for using them can also be downloaded in .pdf format.

I created the sloppy and film borders for use in my wedding albums. Some of the others were made for clients for a specific purpose. If they aren't overused, they can add a nice touch to a print, photo album or even photos on a website.
